Charles W. "Chip" Moore, General
Partner. Mr. Moore joined Jacobson Partners in September of
2004 shortly after the firm initiated the investment program for
JP Acquisition Fund IV, L.P. Mr. Moore has ten years of middle-market
private equity experience having worked from 1997 through mid-2002
as a General Partner with UBS Capital, LLC, a $1.5 billion private
equity fund and from 1994 through 1996 as an Associate with Greenwich
Street Capital Partners, LLC, a $500 million private equity fund.
Since mid-2002, Mr. Moore developed a merchant banking firm called
Astron Services, LLC which focused principally on the media and
communications sector. Mr. Moore has executed private equity transactions
in a variety of industries including automotive, consumer products,
broadcasting, cable television, communications equipment and a
variety of business services.
Prior to entering the private equity field,
Mr. Moore worked as an Associate with Morgan Stanley & Co.
in their Mergers and Acquisitions Department. He graduated with
distinction from the University of Michigan in 1988 and received
an M.B.A. from the University of Chicago Graduate School of Business
in 1993. Mr. Moore is married with two children and lives
in Bronxville, New York. |
| Edmund J. Gaffney,
General Partner. Mr. Gaffney joined Jacobson Partners in December
2001 after co-founding Vercera, LLC, an internet company, in 2000.
Prior to co-founding Vercera, Mr. Gaffney managed the acquisition
activities for AmeriGas Propane, L.P., the largest propane retailer
in the U.S. During his tenure, AmeriGas acquired more than 40 privately
held propane companies. Prior to his role in AmeriGas' Corporate
Development Department, Mr. Gaffney worked as an internal auditor
for UGI Corporation, the parent company of AmeriGas. Mr. Gaffney
graduated with a B.S. in Finance from Georgetown University. |

Steven
C. Jaffe, Vice President. Mr. Jaffe joined Jacobson Partners
in 2006. Prior to joining Jacobson Partners he co-founded
JB Investment Partners, a consulting and investment firm focused
on micro-cap private equity transactions. From 1998 to 2002
he was a Manager at Bain & Company, Inc. At Bain, Mr.
Jaffe worked with manufacturing and service businesses on a number
of strategic issues including initiatives to improve top-line
growth, launch new business ventures and reduce costs. He
also worked in Bain's Private Equity Practice Area conducting
business due diligence on new investment opportunities and working
with portfolio companies. Mr. Jaffe received a B.A. from
Lafayette College and an MBA from the Wharton School at the University
of Pennsylvania where he majored in Finance. |

Jon L. Waldman,
Associate. Mr. Waldman joined Jacobson Partners in September
2006. Prior to joining Jacobson Partners he worked as a
Senior Associate with Astron Services, LLC, a merchant banking
firm focusing in the media and communications sector, where he
completed transactions, including private equity and debt financings,
mergers and acquisitions and leveraged recapitalizations totaling
in excess of $200 million. Previously, Mr. Waldman served
as a Financial Analyst/Client Investment Officer at Edison Schools,
the largest for profit manager of public schools in the United
States. While at Edison, Mr. Waldman completed in excess
of $60 million in charter school financings and worked extensively
on a $174 million going private transaction for the company.
Mr. Waldman graduated with distinction from McGill University
in Montreal, Canada, receiving a Bachelor of Commerce with a major
in Finance and a concentration in Strategic Management. |
